Chess Challenge

January 27^th. 2008

Registration 9:00 to 9:30 am

This is the only K-12 Scholastic tournament before the Regional Chess Challenges on Feb 16^th. (Vancouver) and Feb 17^th. (Fraser Valley). Come out and play against others in your grade. Medals for First, Second and Third place finishers in each grade, including Kindergarten. There’s prizes too.

The first game starts at 10:00, the event should finish around 4:00. Grades may be combined to form tournament sections as required but score separately.

Then check in onsite before 9:30 and pay $15.

• Or Register on site at 9:00 and pay $20. On site registration closes at 9:30.

Location: Sprott Shaw Community College campus located at 1176 8^th Ave.

(the corner of 12^th St and 8^th Avenue.) in New Westminster.

A lunch preorder service will be available at check in, and coffee is offered on site.

The event is entirely parent volunteer driven. Please help out by volunteering for one of the event tasks indicated on the bottom of the registration form.
